Tailored Scallops
Another completed knitting project

I've just completed my second cardigan, the Tailored Scallops project from Pam Allen's Lace Style. I'm mostly happy with the result; had some paranoia after reading other knitters comments suggesting that getting the correct fit was tricky.
A couple of things I don't like about it - the collar doesn't stay flipped down as it should, and also the shoulders are very 'boxy' (a la shoulder pads). I think in general the way it hangs is compromised due to it being knit in acrylic - but I'm allergic to wool, so it's either acrylic, or be bound to always wearing long sleeves underneath.
Also, the yarn colour changed as soon as I left the store. Inside Michaels it was this yummy dark orange, which morphed into red once purchased. I don't wear red! Oh well.
